Donald Leo Pace
Donald Leo “Don” Pace, 76, of the Green Hill Community, passed away Sunday, Jan. 14, at his home. He was born November 3, 1941 in Drew County, to the late Woodrow Wilson Pace and Blanche Molly Piper Pace.
He was a contractor, business owner, United States Army Veteran and a member of Green Hill Baptist Church. Some of Don’s favorite hobbies were hunting, fishing, motorcycle riding, cooking and entertaining others, and raising exotic animals. He loved to make people laugh and his personality was always larger than life.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Henry Pace of Green Hill; two daughters, Crystal Lynn Pace of Little Rock and Dixie Lee Pace of North Little Rock; one brother, Carl Eugene Pace of Vicksburg, Miss.; one sister Sylvia Jane Pace Farrar of Monticello; three grandchildren, Jonathan (Sarah) Brown of Colorado, Dustin (Lori) Brown of Pennsylvania and Courtney Crawford (Joe) Laws of Colorado; and five great-grandchildren, Ethan Brown, Ella Brown, Jackson Brown, Luke Laws and Owen Laws.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Green Hill Cemetery with Rev. Gary Carter and Rev. Caleb Lane officiating. Visitation from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook: www.stephensondearman.com.
